Summit of Mt. McKinley (20320') via West Butress route, June 3, 1981. That's me on the left, my climbing partner Jack Parsell in the middle and Larry Withman of Colorado on the right. Couldn't see too much as is evident in the photo. The item directly on the summit was a thermometer from a gas station in Talkeetna. The temperature was about -20F with a wind of over 35 mph.
